New name for Limagrain’s ingredients sector

The business unit of Limagrain group dedicated to ingredients, has changed its name from Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients to Limagrain Ingredients. This name change will apply to all its entities, including Unicorn Grain Specialties BV and Unicorn Grain Specialties GmbH, both of which joined Limagrain Ingredients last year.

The new name reflects the internationalisation of the company’s activities – today its ingredients are sold in 58 countries generating a turnover close to €150 million. More than 330,000 tons of grain are processed each year produced in seven production plants across Europe. Moreover, even if cereals remain the core raw materials, further growth could come also from other grain families such as legumes and other plant proteins.

Limagrain Ingredients sells its products to 6 international application markets; bakery, culinary, snacks, breakfast cereals, petfood & horses and young animals (piglets & calves) and two domestic application markets; traditional bakery and wood pellets.
