Nexira launches premium brand for sustainable ingredients

Nexira has launched a premium brand, inavea, for organic and sustainable ingredients as it sets goals to preserve natural resources, support local communities and aims for a carbon-neutral footprint.

According to the business, its latest ingredient inavea Pure Acacia is an all-natural, organic and GMO-free dietary fibre, sourced from carefully selected acacia trees, for fibre fortification. Superfruit baobab will join the portfolio in 2020 as well as ingredient combinations for digestive health.

Technically, pure acacia, is 100% soluble; has good dispersibility; is odourless, colourless and tasteless and has a low caloric value.

inavea will embark on a number of partnerships that reinforces its commitment to sustainability, such as actively supporting the African communities where acacia gum and baobab are harvested. As well as partnering with a Chad-based NGO SOS SAHEL and its partners, the company also works alongside the UN to improve soil fertilisation and biodiversity.
