Katie Simpson has been named head of marketing, UK & International for the Oddlygood Group, a plant-based firm that owns the Rude Health and Oddlygood brands.

Simpson, who most recently served as head of UK & Ireland marketing at Innocent Drinks, has more than 20 years of marketing experience at significant FMCG companies. Here, she was a member of the executive team that propelled the company to its first-ever top spot in the chilled juice market. She has also worked with Ferrero, AB InBev, and Diageo.

Simpson will collaborate closely with Sam Maguire, who was elevated from UK & Ireland head of marketing to UK country manager, and global CMO Nina Gillsvik at Oddlygood Group to shape the company’s long-term growth strategies.

In describing Oddlygood Group’s ambition, Simpson said: “Rude Health’s UK success and Oddlygood’s rapid growth in the Nordics speak volumes about the passion and quality of both brands,” said Simpson. “Their ambition for the UK and Europe is infectious. This is a pivotal moment — and a real opportunity to connect more deeply with consumers to accelerate their impact.”
