JPL Flavours opens £11m+ HQ for a new era of culinary innovation

JPL Flavours has officially opened its new headquarters in Bromborough, UK,
this week, marking a significant milestone in the company’s impressive nine-year growth trajectory.
Despite its agility and capacity to adjust to changes in the flavour industry, JPL Flavours, the only flavourist-owned flavour house in the UK, stands out in a crowded market for its inventiveness and forward-thinking mindset. It is still a family-run company that supports local talent and has stayed loyal to its origins.
2025 has already been a significant year for the business, with notable new hires, including Nick Dyson, chief flavourist, and talented industry experts who have made an impressive impact within the JPL family.
The move to the new premises is just one part of JPL Flavours’ expansion this year, with the physical size of the factory expanding to an impressive 75,000 square feet. This growth has been funded by over £11,000,000 of investment, which will enable the business to continue delivering its stand-out service and exceptional flavour portfolio.
The new site features a range of extremely advanced facilities, made possible through the significant investment in the space, meaning JPL Flavours is now one of the most technologically advanced flavour houses in the UK.
The new technology has been hand-selected and championed by JPL Flavours, allowing them to deliver the best in business flavourings, customer service, and efficient production.
The space features a selection of AI support throughout, which has not been utilised in an environment like this before. In addition, the headquarters features 16 team labs where customers can work alongside JPL staff to create sweet, savoury, and beverage flavours, utilising state-of-the-art technology to ensure stellar production and lead times.
