Industry accolade for Law
Years of service to the food industry by Mike Law, chief certification officer at independent certification company Cert ID, have been rewarded with a Society of Food Hygiene Technology (SOFHT) Award for the Most Significant Contribution.
Presented at the recent annual SOFHT luncheon at the Savoy in London, the awards recognise excellence within the food industry and its associated industries, and are judged by a panel of professionals from SOFHT’s membership. Law’s award recognised many years experience in trading standards, food safety certification and his role in the development of the BRC Technical Standards – now adopted by food businesses all over the UK.
Law (right) was presented with his award by Simon Houghton-Dodd of SOFHT.
