Chocolates packed in BOPP film
German chocolate manufacturer Halloren Schokoladenfabrik has chosen Innovia Films’ Propafilm RCU as part of the packaging for its new collection of Oh là là chocolates.
The BOPP film provides protection from mineral oil migration and a barrier against water vapour, flavours and aromas.
The film application is a flow wrap of the tray containing the chocolates inside the box.
Joachim Janz, Innovia Films’ sales account manager, says, “We are pleased to be able to provide our customer Halloren Schokoladenfabrik with a film to match their requirements, particularly around barrier. Propafilm RCU has a proven mineral oil barrier and looks great.”
Transparent Propafilm RCU is the company’s latest BOPP development and promises protection from mineral oil migration for up to one and a half years.
