Mr Stanley’s to launch alcohol infused fudges

Mr Stanley’s Confectionery is to launch three new flavours of alcohol-themed fudges at international confectionery trade show ISM in Germany this month.

The London-based supplier produces fudge, chocolates, biscuits, toffees, honeycombs and liquorice.

Sales director Jaime Waring says, “Our strength and core to the range still lies in our fudge offering which our customers and consumers have been coming back for year after year.”

The expanded fudge lines include Champagne & Raspberry, Whiskey & Ginger and Gin & Elderflower, all in 150g gift drums. According to the company, they are rich in flavour and have a classic crumbly fudge texture. They are set to launch in John Lewis departments stores across the UK in spring 2018 and ISM in Cologne will be the launch pad to the global market.

“The new alcohol fudges are sure to be a hit with our growing UK based independent retailers,” Waring adds. “There is a real trend for some unique flavours in fudge – we now offer over 10 flavours of fudge alone.”
