Zertus appoints new head of UK & Ireland

Zertus has formed a UK and Ireland Snacking & Chocolate Market Unit, consisting of the Kinnerton, Humdinger Foods and Lir Chocolates brands with the goal of offering customers an enhanced set of operational capabilities and service across co-manufacturing, private label and its branded product portfolios.

Alessandra Cama, Zertus GmbH Group CEO said: “I’m delighted to announce that Paul Tripp will take up the new role of chief executive for the UK and Ireland Snacking & Chocolate Market Unit.”

Paul joined the Zertus Group in 2017 as managing director of Humdinger and has achieved an outstanding record of business improvement, forming a strong team and transforming its performance. Paul has a distinguished track record gained from working for over 25 years in the food industry in many senior leadership roles including Soreen Bakery, McCambridge Food Group, ABF and RHM.

“I am looking forward to further developing the group’s strategic partnerships with our key customers and harnessing its expertise and innovation capabilities to deliver distinctive and innovative snacking solutions,” said Tripp.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Zertus and I’m excited and privileged to now have the opportunity to work closely with Kinnerton and Lir Chocolate, alongside Humdinger Foods.”

With Paul’s technical background and industry experience, consumer driven product innovation will be high on the agenda alongside scaling the combined marketing activities of the new group.
