Eco labelling for Tesco milk
Tesco is now displaying carbon footprint labels on milk bottles as part of a series of measures designed to reduce the environmental impact of milk production.
The supermarket giant hopes that the labels will encourage people to make greener choices by informing them about the environmental impact of different products.
It plans to extend the scheme to cover 500 products by the end of the year, with Tesco bags, bread, toilet and kitchen rolls next in line.
