Temperature control improves food spraying efficiencies

Temperature control specialist, ICS Cool Energy has supplied a temperature control solution to Saturn Spraying, a manufacturer of food spraying applications. The equipment will improve on production efficiencies across the business, which is at the forefront of spinning disc spraying technology in the food production industry.
The company supplies spraying equipment that enables food producers to deliver output to meet mass production specifications to ensure quality for distribution on a large commercial scale. It supplies equipment which works across a range of food production areas including bakery, biscuits and snacks, meat and fish products, fruit and vegetables and low fat products.
Ben Newman, sales engineer at ICS Cool Energy, explains, “The installation helps Saturn Spraying’s process to become even more precise and we’re proud to help expand their business and develop into new, previously unobtainable areas of production”.
ICS Cool Energy supplied a T90 water heater as part of a closed loop temperature control system, offering temperatures up to 90°C. The non-pressurised unit can be tailored to meet site specifications and provide a safe method of keeping water-based solutions at specified temperatures, as to not compromise the fluid’s composite integrity. The T90 system ensures that Saturn Spraying benefits from improved production efficiency and minimal rejection rates long after the installation.
Martin Purnell, Saturn Spraying’s sales and marketing manager, comments, “ICS Cool Energy provided us with the very equipment that we needed to break into markets that wouldn’t have been there for us previously. Following the implementation of the T90 water heater unit, we have continued to enhance our production practices further, ensuring that with the aid of ICS Cool Energy, we remain at the forefront of the food technology industry as we continue to develop throughout the UK and beyond.”
