Blendhub starts up a new production centre in Spain

Blendhub, marketer of portable plants for blending powdered ingredients, has launched a new production centre in Murcia, Spain. These facilities have recently been certified by health authorities and are already producing for the company Premium Ingredients, which adds the “Portable Powder Blending” factory to the production centres it has in Spain and in India.

These facilities allow Premium Ingredients, which together with Blendhub forms Premium Blendhub, to expand its production lines in Murcia from three to four. The latest production line is reserved for orders that require products packaged in bags of 15-25kg or in ‘big bags’ of 300-800kg.

Currently, the new production line is processing both products developed and marketed by Premium Ingredients and formulations property of clients who require some specific features of ‘Portable Powder Blending’, such as the use of the liquid injection module or presentations of powder blends in formats of up to 600kg.

This new facility is the second portable plant installed by Blendhub for Premium Ingredients, which also has fixed installations. Both Spanish and Indian portable factories have been planned, designed, manufactured, installed and operated entirely by Blendhub’s team.

According to Eladio Valcárcel, VP head of the process division of Premium Blendhub, says, “We have made progress in developing our capabilities and we are able to design turnkey production plants to be installed anywhere in the world and operate them with our own staff or with our clients.”
