Food can checkweigher
Food processors running high rate can lines will now benefit from a new certified-accurate checkweighing system that features the latest controller and weigh table technology.
The new Thermo Scientific Versa Teorema checkweigher features a combination of Versa checkweigher controller technology and Teorema ‘no moving parts’ weigh table. This combination allows accurate operation at line rates up to 660 cans per minute. It is ideally suited for checkweighing a wide variety of canned food products including soups, vegetables, fruits, beans, sauces and seafood.
The Versa Teorema also offers easy to use touch-screen control, a helix infeed, a high rate reject system and additional communications capabilities. A full mesh cover is available for enhanced safety. It can checkweigh both closed and open cans, giving processors the option of using the checkweigher further upstream before more expensive ingredients have been added.
