Pip & Nut capitalise on bakery-inspired snacking

UK nut butter brand Pip & Nut has expanded its Stuffed Oat Bar portfolio with two new breakfast-inspired additions: Peanut Butter Stuffed Honey Nut and Almond Butter Stuffed Cinnamon Bun.
The company designed the line expansion to target growing consumer demand for comforting, bakery-style morning flavours in a convenient on-the-go snack format, while maintaining clean-label ingredients. Both new variants contain more than 20% nut butter, deliver 6g of protein per bar, and use softly baked British wholegrain oats with zero palm oil.
Strategic sourcing and flavour pairing
To develop the Peanut Butter Stuffed Honey Nut variant, Pip & Nut established a supply partnership with Black Bee Honey, a single-origin British honey supplier focused on sustainable beekeeping. The R&D team tested more than 40 different honeys to find a clean flavour match for their roasted peanut base, ultimately selecting a British heather honey to sweeten the oat bar and its liquid peanut butter centre.
The Almond Butter Stuffed Cinnamon Bun variant replicates the profile of freshly baked goods by combining warm cinnamon, sweet vanilla extract, and golden almonds around a smooth, molten almond butter filling.
“There’s nothing quite like picking up a cinnamon bun from my local bakery, and I’ve always loved topping my porridge with nut butter and a drizzle of honey,” said Pip Murray, founder of Pip & Nut. “We wanted to capture those familiar, comforting flavours in a snack. The result is two seriously stuffed nut butter bars that are packed with flavour.”
Commercial framework and retail rollout
As a certified B Corp, Pip & Nut manufactures the new range using sustainably sourced ingredients and channels 10% of its corporate profits into The Pip & Nut Foundation to support regional food accessibility projects.
Both breakfast-led variants launched on the brand’s direct-to-consumer online store this week, carrying a recommended retail price (RRP) of £1.35 for single 48g formats and £3.00 for multipacks. A wider national grocery rollout is scheduled for mid-July across major UK retailers, including Tesco, Waitrose, and Ocado.
