  • The European beverage packaging market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.64% from 2015-2019, according to a new report from research firm Technavio
  • In collaboration with Greiner Packaging, polish dairy OSM Piątnica has developed a new packaging concept for its cottage cheese snack: a sleeved cup with two chambers – one for the cottage cheese and the other for honey or fruits.
  • Breakfast cereal brand Honey Monster will become the first manufacturer to introduce a resealable feature to its traditional cereal carton, in response to growing consumer demand.
  • Tri-Seal, a division of Tekni-Plex, has introduced EdgePull induction seals. Designed with protection and easy opening functions, the seals require low peel force to remove.
  • This year sees the 100-year anniversary of the iconic Coca-Cola contour bottle.
  • Beverage cartons coated with plastic made from Sabic’s certified renewable polyethylene will soon be available across northern Europe, owing to a partnership between Sabic and Elopak.
  • Aldi Süd is delivering organic vegetables in combisafe carton packs from SIG Combibloc to German supermarket shelves.
