Pecan Deluxe ups production
Yorkshire-based Pecan Deluxe Candy is completing a major investment programme in new facilities that will provide more streamlined production.
The latest investment will provide a self-contained nut production zone, a fifth nut production line, an increased capacity bakery operation, and a large storage area for finished products. Nut production is now segregated from other areas of the
factory and this, along with further new facilities, will enable Pecan production to increase by a further 20%.
Pecan Deluxe produces ingredients for ice cream, dairy, chocolate and bakery in Europe and Australia, including such products as ribbon sauces, fudge, toffee and honeycomb pieces. This year, the company is planning to expand into new lines, such as retail packs for supermarkets and frozen gateaux.
