• The UK’s first drink containing cannabidiol has been launched by Botanic Lab. Each drink contains 2mg of hemp CBD extract, an amount ‘ideal’ for general health maintenance without giving consumers a ‘buzz’.
• Cargill has launched a new potato starch range which offers superior viscosity and an improved sensory experience, without compromising on taste and appearance.
• Kerry has opened its first plant in Russia, producing ingredients for the meat processing and snacks market.
• Coca-cola are also reportedly exploring the cannabidiol drinks market and is said to be in “serious talks” with Aurora Cannabis about developing drinks infused with marijuana.
