‘Indulgent fillings’ from ADM collaboration
An ADM Cocoa and ADM Oils and Fats collaboration has led to the launch of a range of ‘indulgent fillings’ for the confectionery and bakery industries.
The new products are suitable for a wide range of applications and combine great taste with the long shelf life that has previously been difficult to achieve in premium fillings that often have high moisture contents, says ADM.
“Combining an indulgent taste with a long shelf life has raised a number of issues for confectionery manufacturers in the past,” says Simon Godden, new product development manager at ADM Cocoa. “We’ve used our broad technical expertise across product lines to overcome these problems and offer an extensive range of textures and flavours that will help our customers differentiate their products in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”
Available in a variety of flavours and textures, the new fillings can be used to add ‘refinement’ to products such as pralines, éclairs and filled biscuits.
The fillings have been launched in a range of flavours including strawberry, orange, fresh yogurt and custard, as well as chocolate and truffle.
