New bakery ingredients division

G.R Wright & Sons has unveiled its new multi-million pound manufacturing site at Delta Park, Enfield in the UK and created a new division called Wright’s Bakery Ingredients.

Located a mile from Wright’s flour mill in Ponders End, the purpose built 50,000ft2 facility allows Wright’s to further build on its expertise in producing pre-mixes, concentrates and specialty blends for bakeries, retail customers and its growing food service business.

The Delta Park site features mixing and packing equipment and a test bakery facility, allowing Wright’s in-house NPD team to develop new products and packaging formats for new and existing customers.

David Wright, Wright’s managing director, says, “We have created an additional division, Wright’s Bakery Ingredients, which will provide focus for growth, whilst allowing us to retain our core values. Our increased capacity means we can offer enhanced processing capabilities as well as increased production to meet the ever growing demand for our products.”
