Improved efficiencies for confectionery producer

Temperature control specialist ICS Cool Energy has developed a solution to improve efficiencies and maintain control of processes at a UK snack food plant.

Dave Palmer, sales director of ICS Cool Energy’s heating division, explains, “The whole production process has, up until now, relied heavily on the plant’s ageing central boiler. It heated water which was then distributed through a network of piping to its line of jacketed vessels. Our engineers provided a solution that would give the company more comprehensive control of its processes: a T90t thermoregulator with C7 advanced controller.”

The T90t’s C7 advanced controller offers full flow and pressure monitoring. This ensures more stringent levels of control, while allowing for working parameters to be recorded and validated. By working this way, the product stays at consistent temperature levels and its integrity is assured.

Palmer adds, “The T90t’s ʻplug and playʼ functionality and flexible castors mean that the unit can be installed and ready for hot or cold water supply without the need for site disruption.”
