Die necking machine for academy

CMB Engineering has installed a 3400 Die Necker multistage die necking machine into its academy, said to be the first of its kind for can making and seaming.

This is the third significant step in the evolution of the company’s academy, as it continues to build on existing practical and theoretical training for its global range of can making machines – including the CMB5000 Bodymaker and the CMB550 Trimmer (CMB 5500 Canmaker).

“We are delighted to once again expand our academy offering by introducing one of our most innovative machines,” says Andrew Truelove, general manager at CMB Engineering. “This latest installation reflects our unwavering commitment to improving our customers’ knowledge and understanding by providing a range of expert led practical and theory based learning workshops.

“Investing in the academy is investing in the future. We’ve had excellent feedback from industry professionals and want to continue to grow the academy to support our full machinery line up. We are also eager to meet any specific customer requirements and as a result, we have produced a series of bespoke training packages for all of our can making equipment currently installed.”
