Countdown to ProSweets and ISM

Food & Drink Technology is gearing up for its first trade show of the year, ProSweets/ISM, which kicks off this Sunday (31 January) in Cologne, Germany.

Alongside sister publication Confectionery Production, the team will be on stand H078 so if you too are attending, please pay the stand a visit and let us know your thoughts on the magazine and our recently revamped website. Here, you’ll also be able to pick up a copy of the latest issue of the magazine, which includes a preview of the show.

I currently have plans to see Ishida’s latest solution for high accuracy weighing of confectionery at small target weights, as well as Bosch’s upgraded WRF 600 Flex roller former for multilayer bars. In addition, I’ll be learning about the latest ingredient offerings from the likes of GNT, which is presenting its colour intensive fruit, vegetable and plant concentrates; and Beneo, which is showcasing its new chewing gum 
coating technology. I’ll also be catching up with Crown to hear about its latest packaging innovations, such as the capability to add LED lighting to packaging and its GiftTag technology, which allows a video message to be embedded onto packaging using a QR code.
